About Us

As an avid woodworker, co-founder Tim Burnett accidentally discovered the joys of Italian olive wood when he brought some inside the house for a wood working project. The cats started going crazy for this wood! We hadn't seen them act this way for any other wood Tim had worked with! Some online sleuthing revealed that Italian olive wood has similar cat-loving properties as catnip, and also isn't harmful to your cat. We wanted to share the joy this simple product could bring to cats, and developed this purr-fect cat toy!
